June 23rd PSC Gymnastics COVID Safe Procedures

 

PSC Stage 2 COVID Procedures – COVID Hotspots within NSW/Sydney

  1. Gymnastics classes still running
  2. All people 12 years and older, are to wear masks within the centre (including staff, spectators and gymnasts). The gymnasts may take off their masks once they have been asked to enter the gymnastics hall to start class.
  3. Class numbers will be capped at 20 per group with multiple classes being permitted within the gym whilst maintaining 1 person per 4 square metres.
  4. No spectators within gymnastics hall (exception being Kindygym Australia programs)

Drop Off: if possible 5-10 minutes before class

  1. 1 parent to bring the child in to the gymnastics hall COVID sign in desk
  2. This parent must be wearing a mask and must complete the COVID QR code check in and put the child attending gymnastics as a dependant.
  3. If siblings must be with that parent whilst signing the gymnast into class, they must be added as dependant’s also.
  4. Children will get their name marked off on the roll and be asked to sanitise before being able to come into the gymnastics centre and sit on one of the social distancing spots in the viewing area.
  5. Parent will then leave the centre in an orderly fashion. We ask that you do not crowd or gather within the PSC premises including the carpark.
  6. You can then check-out on the COVID-Safe app once you leave.

Pick up: 5 minutes before the end of class

  1. 1 parent to come into the centre and wait in the common areas (foyer/balcony/corridor area) whilst maintaining social distancing.
  2. This parent must be wearing a mask and must complete the COVID QR code check in and put the child attending gymnastics as a dependant.
  3. If siblings must be with that parent whilst signing the gymnast into class, they must be added as dependants also.
  4. Coaches will have all gymnasts sanitise their hands before walking their group of children from the gymnastics hall to the COVID desk where the children will be picked up by their parents.
  5. Please then leave the centre in an orderly fashion. We ask that you do not crowd or gather within the PSC premises including the carpark.
  6. You can then check-out on the COVID-Safe app once you leave.

 

  1. All classes will finish 5 mins before the scheduled time in order for staff to be able to perform COVID cleaning requirements within the gymnastics centre.

 

  1. Everyone will be expected to maintain a high level of personal hygiene and hand washing/sanitising whilst on premises.

 

  1. Any person who has been in any of the locations identified by NSW Health to be COVID hotspot are not to enter the PSC premises at this time.

 

  1. We ask that if anyone has any cold or flu symptoms that they do not attend gymnastics until they no longer have any symptoms and have a negative COVID test.
